Aims

To increase the visibility of Barcelona City Council documents and make it easier to find them and their metadata from multiple repositories on the digital networks.
To ensure the current and future storage, management of and accessibility to these documents, in a way that is easy, free, complete, permanent, reusable and continuously updated.
To promote open access by facilitating self-publishing of documents by the recipients of the Circular[Cat].
To encourage the exchange, innovation and reuse of documents from Barcelona City Council.
To highlight the City of Barcelona's digitised heritage collections, making the world in general aware of them, but especially the citizens of Barcelona.
To provide digital documents that make up part of the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) open repository for electronic resources that unequivocally identifies, in a stable, persistent, and flexible manner, municipal documents on the digital networks.
