We host the Boston University Master's course'The Arts in Barcelona'

In a cooperative venture with the Arts Administration Program at Boston University that began five years ago. The Museu Picasso will welcome students taking part in the programme'The Arts in Barcelona'. This year we are extendingour collaboration with the programme and in addition to the presentation on the main lines of the museum's museology and the guided visit that we have offered in previous years, we will be welcoming them to the seminar rooms of the Centre for Knowledge and Research, which will be their centre of operations in the city, for reflection and discussion sessions with a number of Barcelona-based cultural agents.

The students will visit a broad spectrum of cultural institutions, including the MNAC, the CCCB, Hangar, CaixaFòrum, the Mercat de les Flors, the Fundació Joan Miró, the Palau de la Música Catalana and MACBA. They will also meet representatives of the Catalan Government, BarcelonaCity Council and the InstitutRamon Llull, among others.

This activity is one of a series of actions that the Museu Picasso, as a member of the United Nations Academic Impact Initiative, is organizing during 2015 to foster a network of international relationships between the academic sphere and cultural institutions.
