Organised by: Institut de Cultura de Barcelona
Within the framework of ARTS and INTERFERENCES (a proposal of NOVUM 2015. The Festival of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Barcelona), the Museu Picasso hosts this installation by the artist Tom Carr Shadows , which forms part of the travelling exhibition of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat Echos of Carles Buïgas. The intervention emerges as the result of the assimilation of the work of the multi-disciplinary engineer by Tom Carr and it involves the projection of images and light on the walls that sustain the Museu Picasso, specifically on the access floor.
This enclave makes it visibly suggestive to the visitors, which, when you get close to it, you become immersed in. As an echo of the presence of Buïgas, the concept space - time becomes dynamic and the formulation of each new image leads us to new and personal interpretations. The anamorphosis of the live shadows on the wall and the continuum of changing images lead us towards a reflection about the multiplicity of points of view of the human figure, a field that could belong to Picasso.

A proposal within the framework of NOVUM 2015. The Festival of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Barcelona
Workshops, performances and artistic pieces in anomalous areas for science. We will present you with different aspects of the science and the technology that will generate debate, and how the artistic approaches act as catalyzers for reflection. The projects that we will be bringing have an extensive international recognition.
Josep Perelló, as curator, proposes artistic interventions that open up the perspective and the field of action of the science by the heterodox creators who provide alternatives more typical of science.
