Centenary of the donation of the work Harlequin by Pablo Picasso to Barcelona

One hundred years ago, Pablo Picasso donated his first work to Barcelona: Harlequin, painted during the stay of the artist in the city in 1917. We invite you to celebrate this gift with us.

PERFORMANCES

The characters of the Commedia dell’arte and the circus come to the Museu Picasso to meet up once again with the Harlequin, and they will interact with the visitors and they will amaze us with their acrobatics, dances, puppets and juggling. 

Guest artists: Circ Xic, with Ton Muntané and Dani Tomás; Aurora Caja; Marionetas Colegone, with Marta Espia and Jonathan Guisado; Dídac Cano; Kari Panska and the Russian dancers of Shansa.

Tuesday 14th May, at 12 noon.

Wednesday 15th Thursday 16th and Friday 17th May at 12 noon and 1:30pm.

Saturday 18th May, Day of the Museums, at 12 noon, 1:30pm and 10:00pm.

Galleries of the permanent collection and ground floor.

The activities that take place in the museum’s rooms are free of charge with the price of the admission ticket.
