The book Riu Serra (1921-2006). Escultor i dibuixant, Eduard Riu-Barrera i Pilar Vélez (eds.) will be held in Molins de Rei, Sala d'actes de Ca n'Ametller, c/Jacint Verdaguer, 95bis, on the 17th of April at 9 pm o'clock, edited by l'Ajuntament de Molins de Rei in conjunction with the Museu Frederic Marès.

The book compiles a series of studies on the oeuvre and career of sculptor Riu Serra, plus texts containing the personal memoirs of his friends and disciples. The second part presents a catalogue raisonné of his oeuvre, including sculpture (364), drawings (930), engravings (39), stained glass (6) and ceramics (22). The authors include Eduard Riu-Barrera, Pilar Vélez, Judit Subirachs, Josep M. Cadena and Mireia Freixa i Serra, and collaborators: Josep M. Camí, Martí Domínguez, Roser Garriga, Josep Janés, Lluís Llongueras, Francesc Miralles, Víctor Oliva, Josep-Pau Verrié and Anna Serra i Soto.
