Eusebi Arnau is considered one of the most outstanding sculptors of final of the 19th century and principle|beginning of XX in Spain.

At present we find works of his|hers|theirs in the public space, since sculptures applied to the architecture or destined to funereal precincts, and in|on the big collections of art of the country were good part of its|his|her|their production, its|his|her|their extensive production also then reached the exempt sculpture, the medals and the jewelry.

Formed at the School of Fine Arts of Barcelona, he|she|it continued its|his|her|their studies in Rome and in Paris. He was a disciple of Agapit Vallmitjana, once Catalan sculptor had been recognized the work of whom is in our museum, and teacher of the sculptors Pablo Gargallo, Josep Dunyach, Frederic Marès, Enric Monjo and Rafael Solanic, among others, well represented.

The Nobility sculpture, outstanding work of the modernist production of Eusebi Arnau, exposed in the Room it|he|she Stopped of Barcelona in year 1893 and it|he|she turned up in a title page of the "Artistic" magazine "La Ilustración" of that same year.
