Under Article 103(3)(b) of the consolidated text of the Spanish Act on Public Sector Contracts, any advance guarantees that are provided through a surety or a suretyship-insurance policy certificate or a registered securities immobilisation certificate, shall be deposited with the contracting authority, instead of the Municipal Treasury Department.
