Workshops and show: A Sunday with the "Harlequin"

Centenary of the donation of the work Harlequin by Pablo Picasso to Barcelona

One hundred years ago, Pablo Picasso donated his first work to Barcelona: Harlequin, painted during the stay of the artist in the city in 1917. We invite you to celebrate this gift with us.


A Sunday morning to celebrate this anniversary, with workshops dedicated to the circus, masks, costumes, and drawings, and a show in which the Arlecchino will do his own thing with Colombina, Pierrot and other characters from the world of circus.

Circus workshop given by Papallona Circus.

Mask workshop given by Anna Chwaliszewska.

Drawing workshop given by Anna Tamayo.

Costume workshop given by Sansha.


Show to charge: Circ Xic, with Ton Muntané and Dani Tomás; Aurora Caja; Marionetas Colegone, with Marta Espia and Jonathan Guisado; Dídac Cano; Kari Panska and the Russian dancers of Shansa.

Sunday 19th May, family workshops from 11:00am to 2:00pm.  Show at 13 noon.

Plaça Sabartés.

All the activities are of free access until the capacity is full.
