A revival of Santiago Rusiñol's play El titella pròdig (The Prodigal Puppet), a 'comedy for marionettes in one act and four scenes' whose subject is the eternal need of the young to break free of established conventions, one of the recurrent themes in Rusiñol's work and a constant referent for the adolescent Picasso.

The famous Titelles Vergés, a puppet theatre company much applauded by Picasso, Utrillo, Romeu and Rusiñol himself, is celebrating its centenary with the presentation of this iconic play by Rusiñol. This revival features the original music, composed by Rusiñol, and a 'cast' of traditional Catalan marionettes in period costume in a show that can be read on several levels and will be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
