Claustre Rafart, curator of the collection of the Museu Picasso and joint curator of the exhibition.

Picasso's Kitchen emerges at the same time as the artist Pablo is awoken. It takes shape during the training periods, at the moment when he builds a "culinary display", the starting point of a certain plastic and literary iconography. 

In the Barcelona of the turn of the 20th century, Picasso, frequented the alehouse-tavern-hostel Quatre Gats, the focal point of the Catalan artistic and cultural avant-garde. From then until the artist's stay in Gósol, in the spring-summer of 1906, we put what we consider, Picasso's Catalan cuisine.
