Setting up of the exhibition “Picasso discovers Paris”, with the temporary closure of various rooms of the permanent collection

Due to the preparation of the exhibition “Picasso discovers Paris”, as of 30th August and until 12th September, rooms 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the permanent collection of the museum will remain closed for the installation works and setting up of the exhibition.  Room 11 will reopen from 4th September onwards.

From the museum, we are extending the information and research about our collection: the exhibition in preparation, “Picasso discovers Paris” –in which we include a selection of works from the Musée d’Orsay and of the Musée national Picasso-Paris-, will give the public a unique opportunity to take an in-depth look at the creative process of the artist.

We apologise for any inconvenience these works may cause.
