The Polyptych of our Lady of Solitude is the protagonist of a communication to the "Symposium XIX for the Study of Underdrawing and Technology in Painting" ,organized by the Catholic University of Louvain and the Musea Brugge between the 11 and 13 September.

The responsible department of Preventive Conservation and Restoration of the Museum, Carme Sandalinas, and the coordinator of the Centre for the Study of the Flemish Primitives of the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage of Brussels ( KIK/IRPA),Bart Fransen, presented the joint research of this singular Flemish work in this symposium about the study of the Underdrawing in the painting.
